About Kroschel Construction
Twelve years ago, I watched a crew cut corners on a friend's retaining wall. The work looked fine on day one, but by winter the problem was obvious. That moment stuck with me—not because it was uncommon, but because it was treated like a normal cost of doing business. I realized the gap wasn't skill. It was accountability. So when I started Kroschel Construction in 2025, it was with one core idea: we'd build civil projects the way we'd want someone to build for us.
The early projects taught us quickly. We brought the same practical approach that had worked on job sites for over a decade, but we added something that mattered: time to plan. Time to understand what the ground beneath the project actually needed. Time to build it so it stays built. It wasn't revolutionary. It was just the work done cleanly, with both the client and the crew understanding what success looked like before the first shovel touched soil.
'Quality isn't a luxury. It's the only thing that lasts.'
— Founder, Kroschel Construction
Being locally owned means we see the same roads in winter and summer. We know the soil composition three blocks from here changes. We meet our clients at the grocery store. That stakes everything we do—there's no anonymity, no next town to move on to. It's shaped how we think about durability and follow-through.
Being licensed and insured isn't just paperwork to us. We've seen what happens when someone cuts that corner. The liability lands on the property owner. The legal mess costs more than any legitimate permit ever would. We carry our licenses and insurance because we respect the weight of the work. A client's property isn't a test site; it's often their largest investment. That clarity protects everyone.
Reliability and safety aren't opposites—they're connected. When crews show up on schedule, communicate what they're doing, and follow safety protocols, projects move forward without surprises. We've learned that the job that runs clean is also the job that ends without anyone getting hurt. That's not a trade-off. It's the same thing seen two ways.
Working with us looks like this: clear conversation before we start, a crew that shows up when they say they will, and someone who explains what's happening and why. You'll see the same faces, not a rotating door. We'll identify problems early—not after the foundation's poured. You'll get answers that make sense, not technical jargon that leaves you guessing.
If you've got a civil construction project and you want people who treat it like their own, reach out. We're ready to listen to what you're building and how we can help get it done right.
